Teenagers and Teenpics 

'Teenagers and Teenpics tells the story of two signature developments in the 1950s: the decline of the classical Hollywood cinema and the emergence of that strange new creature, the American teenager. Hollywood's discovery of the teenage moviegoer initiated a progressive "juvenilization" of film content that is today the operative reality of the American motion picture industry.
The juvenilization of the American movies is best revealed in the development of the 1950s "teenpic," a picture targeted at teenagers even to the exclusion of their elders. In a wry and readable style, Doherty defines and interprets the various teenpic film types: rock 'n' roll pictures, j.d. films, horror and sci-fi weirdies, and clean teenpics. Individual films are examined both in light of their impact on the motion picture industry and in terms of their important role in validating the emerging teenage subculture. Teenagers and teenpics is ultimately about the revolution of movies throughout the years, starting from the 1950's all the way to present day. Overall, I enjoyed reading the first few chapters of this book. I would defiantly recommend it to any film lovers.

POST FILMING VIDEO DIARY POST FILMING DIARY ALL This is our Post-Filming Diary. So, before going into each shoot, we had a clear understanding through planning, mind maps and general organisation of what we were going to do. We played to our strengths of what each of us were going to organise, meaning we all had responsibilities, so we could get the best possible outcome. We also planned our shoots according to the weather, dates and times and each other’s lives. We took it into consideration that we all have to fit in around each other. To begin with, we also thought the most efficient way to get all the filming done to our highest standard possible was to have three shoots; 1. daylight outside shots 2. daylight inside shots and 3. night time shots. Extra at home task - coursework To help myself and my class mates understand how to make a good and sustainable music video, we watched a variety of student made videos. I made notes of each one we watched, explained what I liked and what I didn't like. I then, gave them an overall grade out of 40 using the mark scheme to help me out. (Post 40) Final storyboards

Final storyboards No changes have been made to the storyboards since the planning stage so we are working from the storyboards, below. STORYBOARDS These are the current plans and storyboards we are looking at turning into our music video. Our plot outline is rough as we plan to go away for the weekend, at our setting (a victorian beachouse in Lowestoft) to have two camera people filming pretty much everything the two actors do throughout the weekend. Then, edit everything we have/that happens into our music video so it looks autherntic and natural.
