Our preliminary task explained
My group; me, Lily, Daisy and Tazmin were randomly given fairy tale or nursery rhyme, and a question. The fairy tale which we were given was 'The Tortoise and the Hare' and the question we were given was 'What is your favourite colour?'.
Our initial idea was to use the Fairy tale 'The Tortoise and the Hare' in our music video practise task. What our group came up with was to film a race between the tortoise and the hare running around the town using some slow motion shots and fast motion shots in order to create tension. A brief story of the tortoise and the hare is a Hare who ridicules a slow-moving Tortoise. Tired of the Hare's boastful behaviour, the Tortoise challenges him to a race. The hare soon leaves the tortoise behind and, confident of winning, takes a nap midway through the race. When the Hare awakes however, he finds that his competitor, crawling slowly but steadily, has arrived before him. Therefore, what we thought we could do is dress two characters up in the costumes of the animals.
