Our practice task planning  Our plan for our coursework We have updated our task slightly due to the fact we have made some progress with our idea for our actual coursework; so we decided to do something that would be more beneficial to our end result. Therefore we decided to recreate the first 30 seconds of a music video that has inspired our plans for our own music video, which is  ' Sleep on the Floor'  By the Lumineers as this would give us some idea of how to recreate the style we are going for and some initial practice of trying to capture those kind of shots. Final costume and make-up No changes have been made to my group and I's ideas of the Costume and Make-up section of our plans. We are working from those Costume and Make-up outlines below. Definition  - ' a style of dress, including accessories and hairdos, especially that peculiar to a nation, region, group, or historical period. ... fashion of dress appropriate to a particular occasion or season: dancing  costume ; winter  costume .' The plan for our makeup and costume ideas are very similar. Because  we want the theme to be very natural and simplistic, it wouldn't make any sense to have any bright or glaring make-up or costume in the music video, especially because the two characters are going away, just them, and not any meeting people but spending time with each other and therefore wouldn't have a full face of make-up. Similarly, the two actors will be wearing natural costumes/clothes for it to fit in the setti...

(Post 52) Final ancillary task 2

Ancillary task 2  Displayed above is our final outcome of our album poster. We have decided to use a simple photo of the two main characters within out music video (myself and Amelia). The photo shows two girls that we assume are laughing to one another and the camera has captured this moment they are sharing. Directly on top of the photograph we have added a title of the single and the artists name in the same font but slightly smaller. We have also added small logos of  iTunes and spotify for promotional reasons.  To edit our poster, we used the editing softwares named 'Adobe Photoshop' and 'Adobe lightroom'. Photoshop -  An image editing software developed and manufactured by  Adobe  Systems Inc.  Photoshop  is considered one of the leaders in photo editing software.
