(Post 38) CHECKPOINT 1- R&P Mark scheme
CHECKPOINT 1- R&P Mark scheme
To evaluate and reflect at this point in the course, I have decided to review upon other students work as this is easier to do than mark my own. Throughout this process I will be referring to the mark scheme to help and guide me to make my fellow classmates work.

Student one:
The first student i will be looking at has completed a blogpost explaining 'Ancillary task 2 Practice.' Our task was to 'In groups you will be given an existing album cover. You will then have the remainder of the lesson today to organise and the lesson tomorrow to shoot a recreation of the album cover as close as possible to the exact detail and then upload to your blogs'. I understand this students work is at level 3 (around 12-15 marks) due to the fact there is not enough research on how the artist completed the look and also not enough explanation on to why they have included certain aspects. Additionally there is no evidence on to how they created their outcome, or example did they hand make it or use photoshop?
Student two;
The second student i will be looking at has completed a blogpost explaining 'Costume and makeup' (post 29) - "List of the costume and make-up required for your characters, Sketches of how you envisage your characters to look, Images of the costumes and make-up that you are hoping to use and reasons why, Images of you practicing and experimenting with make-up/prosphetics etc if appropriate." I would give this student Level 4 for this particular blogpost due to the fact it is extremely detailed and thorough all the way throughout. For example, they explain how costume and makeup is effective which makes the viewer understand why it is important. Moreover, the student then explains how the costume will be used and applied to each character.
