Our preliminary task explained  My group ; me, Lily, Daisy and Tazmin were randomly given fairy tale or nursery rhyme, and a question. The fairy tale which we were given was  'The Tortoise and the Hare' and the question we were given was 'What is your favourite colour?'.   Our  initial idea  was to use the Fairy tale 'The Tortoise and the Hare' in our music video practise task. What our group came up with was to film a race between the tortoise and the hare running around the town using some slow motion shots and fast motion shots in order to create tension. A brief story of the tortoise and the hare is  a  Hare  who ridicules a slow-moving  Tortoise . Tired of the Hare's boastful behaviour, the Tortoise challenges him to a race. The hare soon leaves the tortoise behind and, confident of winning, takes a nap midway through the race. When the Hare awakes however, he finds that his competitor, crawling slowly but steadily, ...

Extra at home task - coursework To help myself and my class mates understand how to make a good and sustainable music video, we watched a variety of student made videos. I made notes of each one we watched, explained what I liked and what I didn't like. I then, gave them an overall grade out of 40 using the mark scheme to help me out. (Post 50) Feedback on rough cut

THE FEEDBACK FROM OUR ROUGH CUT:  For this post, I showed the rough cut of our music video to friends and family to see what their opinions were on it and whether they had any advice on what we could do to change it/ make it better.  I showed my dad first because I feel as though I should ask a range of different age groups to see whether they can understand the filming and to see what they like compared to younger/older generations. Dad  - He said that the filming was "very natural" and "didn't look staged". This was something that we were concerned about because it can affect the video if it doesn’t look natural. He understood that the relationship between the two girls were sister’s due to how the old photograph was shown in the music video.
